How To Make A Fairy Birthday Party Flower Crown | Pottery Barn Kids
ByHosting a fairy themed birthday party for your precious little daughter is a great idea. Little girls are fascinated by the magical charm of fairies; you can also dress her like one on her birthday. In this Pottery Barn Kids video, stylist Kelli Ronci demonstrates how to make a beautiful flower fairy crown for your little one. For preparing a flower crown, Kelli takes a crown wire of about 21 inches and little buckets with feather butterflies, paper flowers and also some fresh flowers. She prepares a crown base by rounding the crown wire and overlapping the ends for about three inches and then twisting them together. Next, she wraps the stray ends of the wire around to create little gaps so that flowers can be easily placed in between. Kelli then takes two 30 inches, thin satin ribbons and two paper leaf ribbons. She folds the satin ribbons into half and loops them around the crown base. She also attaches the paper leaf ribbons in a similar manner. For decorating the flower crowns, she places individual flowers and butterflies in the gaps.
